Wen-Yee HSIEH
A young artist from Taiwan who poses questions about the relationship between visual art, and architecture. Fascinated by supernatural beings, his works reflect social phenomena and the mystery of life. He injected himself into works of art, that form a line of energy questioning the individual's state against the environment. His VR debut LIMBOTOPIA in VR (2021) was nominated by Tribeca Film Festival for the Immersive New Voices competition in 2022,and won the Best VR Prize in AniFilm in the Czech Republic.
In 2024, he was once again selected by the 2024 Tribeca Festival immersive section with his next-level VR film LIMBOPHOBIA (2024). It was selected by several European festivals, including Prague, Geneva, and Amsterdam in the winter of 2024. Created the infinite mirror installations THE GREAT FILTER and INVISIBLE THEM for New York's art museum, Mercer Labs.
