Synopsis
TRIANGLE tells the story of Carlos, a man shatter by the loss of his daughter, Maggie, in a horrific accident for which he blames himself. The film begins with him spiraling into self-destructive behavior, consumed by alcoholism and addiction, and isolated from loved ones. At his lowest point, contemplating suicide, a mysterious man hands him a key that sets off a series of events promising to reunite him with his daughter. But the price to pay will be high: an extreme obsession with triangular shapes will engulf his life, nearly consuming him. This obsession leads him to acquire a mysterious pyramidal-shaped lamp with the power to illuminate the afterlife, promising to lead him back to Maggie. On his journey, Carlos will drag Sara, his ex-wife, into the lamp's power and will have to confront his inner demons to prevent her from paying for his sins.

Joseph DIAZ
Director and visual artist, Joseph DIAZ has worked in all areas of film production on more than 70 projects for production companies such as Disney, Netflix, HBO and Apple TV. Working with directors such as J. A. Bayona, Paco Plaza, Alejandro G. Inárritu, Jaume Balagueró and Oscar winners Eugenio Caballero and Brigitte Broch. He has directed 2 short films premiered in OS of the Sitges Festival.

Coque SERRANO
Executive producer with solid experience in project development, budgeting, and line production. He has worked on films such as Amazing Elisa, The Coffee Table, The Cavern Crimes and Asteroid City by Wes Anderson. Since 2021, he leads the production of films and series from development to delivery.

Outpost 31 Pictures is an indie company founded to develop original IPs. They've produced five shorts—Helena, Night Breakers, The 6 Relics of Helena Mason, Triangle, and The Merchant—all premiered at Sitges. Night Breakers screened at SXSW, Tribeca, won the Méliès d’Argent, and is now being developed into a feature with WTFilms and StudioCanal.
