Synopsis
Inside a circus tent, a ragtag film crew is busy shooting a film of four Sichuan bizarre tales? From prehistoric ancestors with tails, to fertile beginning of agriculture, from rivers of medieval exile, to the sparks of revolution…Spanning four millennia, and told through the chronicles of four celebrations, it invites us to feast with the living, the dying, the dead, and the long dead.

ZHAO Jin
ZHAO Jin is a producer, film critic and international sales. His credits include Vanishing Days (2019), Yanagawa (2021), A New Old Play (2021), A Story about Fire (2025), etc.
David TANG
A former film reporter in Taiwan, TANG has been creating critically acclaimed and commercially successful films since 2006. His notable producing credits include Who Killed Cock Robin (2017), Stand by Me (2019), The Soul (2021), My Heavenly City (2023), and The Abandoned (2023). He is also known for his efforts in championing emerging filmmakers.
