Synopsis
There was a period when I spent my days confined to bed. My husband joked I looked like a zombie. Though I felt offended, I ended up laughing. Everyone faces times when their spirit feels crushed. What saw me through was genuine care, kindness, and moments of laughter. This film will gently embrace viewers with warmth and love, reminding us that togetherness is our brightest light, and that no season, no matter how dark, lasts forever. Softly yet profoundly, it speaks of resilience and hope.
Director
KIM Eunyoung
Born in 1987. He is active in various fields such as film and publishing. He started making films through a film workshop in Daegu, and directed the shorts Where Is My Pepper (2013), Secondhand, Paul (2016), A Dancer on a Plain (2020), Breathe (2022), and the feature film Will You Please Stop, Please? (2023).
Production Company
Goranibooks
Goranibooks is expanding them into movies, with two writers and creators drawing together and writing essays and novels. It wraps the movie with kitsch sensibility and lovely details, but it contains stories that are by no means ordinary.
The short film Anti Late-Night Snack Club won a special prize for judges at the Korean Women's Human Rights Film Festival, and the feature film Will you please stop, please started from a publication of the same name and received warm love from the audience. Goranibooks is a cute and pleasant but never lighthearted story that seeks to connect quietly and reliably with the world.
