Log line
In the consciousness of a man excavated from a massacre site turned to ash, things are revealed. Experience the traces of hands that incinerated disciples under the logic of massacre packaged as salvation, and the form of a mind that first annihilated pure trust.
Synopsis
This work is a vertical descent into the consciousness of one completely erased. At a massacre site, a place that became ash without even leaving a name, a man's consciousness awakens. The experiencer encounters fragments of this man's consciousness within the system, confronting his self-rationalization mechanisms from inside the perpetrator's mind.
It deconstructs the logic of massacre packaged in the language of salvation, along with the pure malice and sadistic pleasure lurking beneath. Each moment's choices strip away the perpetrator's archetype, witnessing how a human being existing there can become completely hollow, how lips that once taught God's love could issue commands for massacre.
Creator's Statement
The work begins not in a physical place but in a space of absence—an empty site that remains only as the name "massacre site." In a place where something has completely disappeared, where even names have been erased, remnants of memory emerge from that void. The XR space becomes a device that makes this absence present, allowing audiences to directly experience the weight of what does not exist.
God's love, salvation. It reveals how these sublime languages become instruments of massacre, and that after the betrayal of language, only silence remains. The void that the perpetrator ultimately reaches is absolute silence—before language, after language. The work deals with things beyond salvation, questioning a realm where even divine salvation is impossible, based on a completely emptied heart and a consciousness that has completely erased the other.
