2026 Beyond Reality Call for Entries Now Open!
The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN)’s new media exhibition program, Beyond Reality, has officially opened submissions for its 2026 exhibition.
Beyond Reality has continuously explored the potential of immersive content through exhibitions centered on XR (Extended Reality). In 2026, the program will expand beyond XR into the broader field of new media, presenting a wider range of media art practices and formats.
In addition to VR, AR, and MR, we welcome works across an expanded new media spectrum, including interactive media, audiovisual works, experimental films, and technology-based art.

Please note that the submission deadline for 2026 has been moved up compared to last year. As interest and participation in XR and new media content continue to grow, earlier preparation and proactive submission are more important than ever.
