BIFAN+ NAFF Project Market
Network of Asian Fantastic Films
The Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF), the world¡¯s first industry program devoted exclusively to genre cinema, proudly marks its 18th edition in 2025.
Since its inception in 2008, NAFF has played a pioneering role in the development of the global genre film industry, having selected a total of 467 projects over the past 17 years through its cornerstone initiative, the Project Market.
The 2025 NAFF Project Market will present 31 outstanding projects representing 11 countries, facilitating both online and in-person business meetings. This year, the Project Spotlight is dedicated to South Korea, continuing NAFF¡¯s annual tradition of showcasing the genre cinema of a selected Asian nation. Expanding its reach beyond Asia, NAFF remains steadfast in its mission to promote international cooperation within the genre film community. Key ongoing partnerships include FanPitch, the industry platform of the Sitges Film Festival in Spain; the Nordic Genre Invasion, which supports the resurgence of Nordic fantastic cinema; and Blood Window, the premier genre film industry program of Ventana Sur, Latin America¡¯s largest film market.
Projects that distinguish themselves through both preliminary and final jury evaluations will be honored with cash awards and/or in-kind, post-production support.
