NAFF Network of Asian Fantastic Films
The Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF) is the world's first genre film industry program launched in 2008 and marks its 17th edition this year. In its 17 years, NAFF has selected 430 projects through its project market and trained 370 filmmakers through its Fantastic Film School.
The 2024 NAFF Project Market, featuring 37 projects from 22 countries, will feature business meetings that combine onsite and online.
NAFF partners with Jakarta Film Week, part of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, to bring the Project Spotlight country to Indonesia, and with the CNC to present the Focus: France section. Beyond Asia, NAFF has also fostered active exchange and collaboration between the East and West film industries. For example, through collaborations with Fanpitch, the industry program of the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia in Spain, Nordic Genre Invasion, which aims to revive Nordic fantastic films, and Blood Window, the genre film industry program of Ventana Sur, the largest film market in South America, NAFF has become an integral part of an organic and robust network of genre film industries in Asia and around the world. Cash, post production, in-kind support awards will be given to the best projects selected from the NAFF Juries.
