Now in its 19th edition, the Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF) was launched in 2008 as the world's first industry program for genre film. Over the past 18 years, NAFF has selected 498 projects through its Project Market, driving the growth of the genre film industry. In the past year alone, 9 projects have reached completion, demonstrating tangible production results.
The 2026 NAFF Project Market presents 32 projects from 29 countries. Project Spotlight, the section that focuses each year on a single Asian country, has selected Korea for the second consecutive year to concentrate support on Korean genre cinema.
Reaching beyond Asia, NAFF continues to work closely with Fan Pitch, the industry program of the Sitges Film Festival; Nordic Genre Invasion, a platform supporting the rise of Nordic fantastic cinema; and Fantastic!, the genre film business platform of Ventana Sur, Latin America's largest film market. Together, these partnerships help energize the global genre film industry.
Projects selected through preliminary and final selection rounds receive both cash and in-kind support.
