This year, BIFAN Plus is collaborating closely with France to promote mutual interest in the film industry. With the generous support of the Centre national du cinema et de l'image animee (CNC), UniFrance, and the Ambassade de France en Republique de Coree, BIFAN Plus will proudly present Focus: France. This program was newly established to enhance the relationship between the film industries of Korea, Asia and France.
Through the NAFF Project Market, three French genre film projects will be showcased. These selected projects will be introduced to global industry professionals through 'Focus: France', aiming to secure investment, co-production, and distribution opportunities via one-on-one business meetings. Additionally, these projects will be contenders for NAFF awards in categories such as cash production support and post-production support.
Moreover, as part of this initiative, XR content created by French artists will be introduced, and various panel talks featuring French industry experts will be held to discuss co-production and new media technologies.
We hope that Focus: France will mark a significant step forward in establishing and strengthening the ongoing collaborative relationship between BIFAN and the French Creative industry.
