Synopsis
Julia, a history professor, teaches the controversial Lebanese Civil War. Her solitary lifestyle is disrupted when Ghassan, her son, comes back to live with her. While mother and son attempt to reconstruct their broken relationship, the war-time dogs reappear, spreading terror in Beirut. When Ghassan is bitten, Julia witnesses his transformation into a violent man. Together, they embark on a nightmarish journey through the capital, looking for a cure as the city collapses around them.

Sandra TABET
Sandra TABET, a Lebanese filmmaker based in France, completed her MA in Filmmaking at The London Film School. Her directorial works include The Howl (2017), which won the Jury Prize at the Maskoon Film Festival, and Hell (2021), premiered at Cinemed. Sandra participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2017 and is currently writing her debut feature film Rabies.

Thomas MICOULET co-runs the French production company HAUT LES MAINS since 2009. He has produced more than twenty films, including award-winning documentary I am the People (ACID Cannes); Poisonous Roses (Rotterdam International Film Festival, Egypt Oscar-nominated, and Europe (Berlin International Film Festival 2022).
Rana EID
Rana EID, renowned sound designer, co-founded DB-Studios in 2006 and collaborated on acclaimed films including Evil Dead Rise (2023) and Goodbye Julia (Cannes Film Festival 2023). Films she co-produced include the documentary essay Panoptic (Locarno Film Festival). Rana is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and the MPSE.

Haut Les Mains is an independent production company based in Lyon, France, founded by Moroccan producer Karim Aitouna and French producer Thomas Micoulet. Since 2014, the company has produced more than twenty films that were shown in A-festivals such as Berlin International Film Festival, Venice International Film Festival, and Cannes Film Festival. The company develops deep-rooted stories and works internationally with emerging filmmakers.
DB STUDIOS
DB Studios is an audio post-production and music production facility based in Beirut, Lebanon. Founded in 2006, the studio has worked on films, documentaries, and art productions from around the globe. In 2018, DB Studios began a partnership with H.A.L. Audio, Paris to include 5.1 sound editing and 7.1 surround sound re-recording.
