Synopsis

A-young and Seo-jin may seem like ordinary teenage students, but they harbor a secret longing that they can't share with anyone else. That longing is to save the Earth. Who do they want to save it from? From us humans! The extinction of humanity has been their sincere dream since childhood. They proceed with their plan for human extinction. They begin gathering people they need for the plan under the guise of participating in the local festival called the Ginseng Valley Singing Contest.

LEE Dongeun

He works as a film director and a graphic novelist. His feature film In Between Seasons (2016), competed in the New Currents section at Busan International Film Festival, winning the KNN Audience Award, and also won Best Film Special Mention at OUTshine Film Festival 2018. Mothers (2017) won the NETPAC Jury Award at Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinemas 2018. Family Affair (2019), adapted from his graphic novel, was invited to the Busan International Film Festival. His graphic novels (BD), including Jin and Jin, have also been published in France to positive reception.

PARK Sunhye

Entered the film industry in 2007 and made her debut as a producer, taking charge of various parts of the production. She is currently CEO of STUDIO HIGHFIVE, took charge as a producer of New Year Blues in 2020, Watching in 2019, Will You Be There? in 2016, Horror Stories III in 2016. She recently produced a film Journey to Gyeongju (2024).

STUDIO HIGHFIVE was founded with the aim of empathizing with and expanding stories. At the 25th Jeonju International Film Festival in 2024, Sister Yujeong won the CGV Award and When This Summer is Over was selected for the Korean Cinema section. Secret Garden was selected for the Korean Competition section of the 21st Seoul International Environmental Film Festival. I Am Love is currently in post-production and Journey to Gyeongju is in production. Additionally, various projects including Doomsday Girls are being planned and produced.
