Synopsis

In 1988, the Chief of Taiwan's Bureau of Folklore Creatures sent creatures to suppress a nuclear accident. Only a few survived, Madam Tiger is one of them, but she is seriously injured. Without the Bureau's shelter, she disguises herself and lives like an ordinary human. Years later, while rescuing an abused child Jay, she discovers that Chief is alive, exploiting children's souls to boost his power. Threatened by Chief, Madam Tiger assembles Mr. Big Nose and Liar Ah Chi to fight against Chief.

Joseph Chen-Chieh HSU's short film Guo Mie was selected for the finalist of the 2017 Student Academy Awards. His debut feature, Little Big Women (2020), had its world premiere at BIFF 2020, received six nominations at the 2020 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival won Best Leading Actress and was the opening film of the HKIFF 2020.

Jacqueline W. LIU

Trained in Canada and the US, Jacqueline is a producer from Taiwan who built her co-production experience when she worked under Terence Chang in Beijing. Jacqueline later co-founded Each Other Films in Taiwan in 2017, aims to create high-quality projects, including two family dramas End of Summer (2017) and Little Big Women (2020), and a comedy series The Accidental Influencer (2024).
