CHOI HyunJung, AI Artist

Choi Hyunjung is an AI Artist at Studio Freewillusion which is Korea's first AI video production studio. Choi has participated in various films as an art director and as an AI artist in generative AI films. Choi participated as an art director in short films Soonyoung (2020) and Variation (2023), as an Korea unit art assistant in Riceboy Sleeps, Canada independent feature movie. Also Choi had a role of art team graphic designer in the TV series set of Amazon Prime Video ¡ºButterfly¡»(2024). Choi also participated in generative AI Films Do You Really Know Her, Brutal Seoul (2025), Land of Dead Dogs as an AI Artist, and is leading a new creative method the intersection of AI and video technology.

KIM 00, CEO

Kim00 is a CEO of Kim00 Studio, also a leading Korean AI artist. As Team AI Magic creator, Kim's diverse works include The Guardian which was France's Artefact AI Film Festival closing film, and Last Meal which was selected for Runway GEN:48 Finalist, spanning from touching narratives to dystopian worldviews. Fusing impressionistic aesthetics with glitch art and cyberpunk elements, Kim visualizes tensions and harmony between human/algorithm, utilizing AI as creative partner to propose sustainable future dialogue.

Dora LEE

Lee Dora completed a certificate program at the Jeonju Film School. Lee’s first project as a producer, Daily Prayer, was screened in the Korean Cinema section at Jeonju International Film Festival 2022.

JUNG Kibum

Jung Kibum is from Bucheon, majored in industrial design and after going through 3D architectural design and visual design. Jung gradually became interested in the world of moving images and stories. After completing the video course at the Gyeonggi Content Agency AI Content Creation Academy, Jung is expanding work-direction while paying attention to the possibility of AI-based video production. Jung is currently experimenting with SF imagination and animation expression using local-based AI tools, and is gradually building expertise in the field of AI video creation.

LEE Jiho

Lee Jiho, as a writer and director, has consistently sought to challenge new stories. Fascinated especially by the genres of science fiction and occult, Lee strives to push genre boundaries even within low-budget environments by leveraging AI technology and experimental techniques. By capturing subtle emotional textures and weaving together symbols and allegory, Lee aims to craft a distinctive and imaginative cinematic world unlike any seen before.

PARK Soungyun

Park Soungyun is a viral video editing team leader and director, born in Gyeonggi in 1992. Park produces videos in collaboration with various companies and government agencies, including Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Hyundai Mobis, and the Ministry of National Defense, and is working to utilize new expression techniques and storytelling using AI technology.

YOO Seonyoo

Yoo Seonyoo was born in Daegu in 1979, and has lived in Japan since 2008. Yoo is currently the Chief of General Affairs, Yokohama Branch, Kanagawa Prefecture, Korean Residents Union in Japan. Yoo has been active in cultural exchanges between Korea and Japan and community ties, and has recently been focusing on AI-based video production and creation. Yoo is planning an 'AI Video Creation Workshop' in collaboration with the BIFAN 2025.

CHOI Bokyu

Choi Bokyu was born in Seoul in 1993 and graduated from Kookmin University with a degree in film. Choi's first short animation Useless Story was invited to the Seoul Independent Film Festival in 2016, and subsequent short film Elvis Doesn't Live Here Anymore was screened at numerous film festivals including BIFAN 2020, and also selected as an award-winning work at some film festivals. Choi's follow-up short animation Useless Stories 2 was also screened at and awarded at several film festivals. In 2024, Choi was selected as the 5th Studio Goyang of Gyeonggi Story Writer held by Gyeonggi Content Agency, and wrote the feature-length scenario Connection Lost.

JEONG Yoonhee

Jeong Yoonhee majored in astronomy and film in Seoul. With her curiosity about the world, Jeong has worked on short films and feature-length scripts, as well as writing. Jeong also pursues video and storytelling that crosses genres and media, and hopes to continue living as a storyteller for the world.

LEE Chou

Lee Chou was born in Seoul and majored in film studies. Lee's short film How to Eat a Kiwi (2022) was screened at Hollywood Short Fest and New York Indie Shorts, and won an award at the LGBTQ+ Toronto Film Festival. In 2024, Lee published an article ¡ºExclusive : How data restrictions and funding constraints hamper suicide prevention in South Korea¡», which indicated about the suicide rate in South Korea in the New York Times, and appeared on the Dutch travel show ¡º3OP REIS¡». In 2025, Lee is working on a new short film Catching Rat.

SEO Seiyoun

Seo Seiyoun was born in Gwangju in 1998 and is a creator active in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area. Seo studied visual design and became interested in planning and directing, began video work by directing the AI ​​short psychological thriller SELF-INFLICTED. Based on creative ideas and flexible imagination, Seo is experimenting with unique story compositions that cross the genres of SF and black comedy.

CHOI Jinhyeok

Choi Jinhyeok was born in Daegu in 1998. Choi graduated from Sungkyul University with a degree in film and video and directing, and is currently enrolled in the Korea National University of Arts with a degree in cinematography. Choi's representative directing work is Christmas with lover, invited to the 2022 Cheongju International Film Festival, and representative cinematography work is Perfect Appreciation, invited to BIFAN 2025. Choi wants to use AI to challenge stories and visuals that have never been attempted before, and wants to become a cinematographer who adapts to new production tools and works creatively and challengingly.

Kim Chaehyun was born in 1999 and majored in biochemistry in college. Afterwards, Kim studied film directing at the Korea National University of Arts and directed My Homework and the Collapsing World and The Game of Sisyphus.

Lim Jungsub is a screenwriter and director born in 1992. Lim graduated from the Korea National University of Arts and is currently attending graduate school. Lim's representative work is the short film Perfect Appreciation (2025). This work utilizes AI technology and was invited to BIFAN 2025.

Cody Lee is an independent writer and director born in Daejeon in 1996. Lee has released Midwinter Waltz (2022) and My Plastic Sweetheart (2021).

HEO Hyunwoong

Heo Hyunwoong was born in Bucheon, and studied production design before turning to directing and learned screenwriting by studying on Heo's own. Heo's short film Man, Hole was selected for the Cannes Short Film Corner and gained attention, leading to invitations from various international festivals. Continuing exploration of genre filmmaking, Heo wrote, directed, shot, and produced the horror short Look, which won the Grand Prize at the BIFAN Fantastic Goedam Short Film Competition. Heo is currently active as a drama writer.

Kim Hakjun worked in film distribution and marketing, and is now planning and producing video content such as movies and dramas at the webtoon IP studio Toyou's Dream.

KIM Kyutae

Kim Kyutae is a business developer and planner. Although Kim has no experience in traditional film production, continuing content production activities by learning how to utilize various generative AI tools along with the development of AI technology. Kim is particularly interested in storytelling, and is exploring new possibilities for realizing creative and novel content that was difficult to attempt in the existing film industry due to capital and cost limitations through AI technology.
