Jimmy Cheng is the vice president of Operations at Digital Domain Holdings Limited(DDHL), leading the trading business (SSD / DRM / Module) between Digital Domain and its strategic partners and shareholders in North America and Greater China. Cheng is also focusing on immersive distribution, which is still acting as the Director of International Partnership at Sandman Studios in China and Consultant of Asia Pacific at Small Creative in France. Representing contents from over 100 immersive / XR studios (Atlas V / City Lights / Faber Courtial / etc.), and servicing different online platforms, offline locations, and screening events to find suitable distribution opportunities. Seeing the growth of the immersive exhibition market in the past 2 years, Cheng is now exploring the opportunities to bring immersive exhibitions from the East to the West. Prior to being in charge of content licensing, Cheng was hired by DDHL as the Director of Business Operations in Hong Kong, mainly focused on the daily operation, and restructuring for subsidiaries under DDHL.

Director of AI Film Voices, COO of Code Fantasia

Seo Taegyu is a visual content specialist with 25 years of experience in the film and animation industry. Seo"s major works include Aachi & Ssipak (2006), Robocar Poli (2011-), Train to Busan (2016), and Psychokinesis (2018), where Seo has worked mainly as an art director across both film and TV animation. Seo has also led and planned a wide range of projects that combine technology and art, such as the Dior AR application and Kia 360. Seo is currently the co-founder of the AI-based film production company Code Fantasia, and recently won the Gold Prize at the Seoul International AI Film Festival for AI-directed short film Voices (2025).

Interaction Artist based on AI¡¤XR

Jeremy Oury is a French artist who questions our perception of reality and our relationship with the digital world through video, sound and virtual space. Oury focuses the artistic work on the search for illusions based on geometric distortions, on synesthesia between sound and video, and on immersive forms to place the viewer at the center of a virtual universe in order to disrupt his or her perception of space. Oury"s innovative work has been recognized at international video mapping and fulldome festivals, and exhibited at prestigious digital exhibitions worldwide, such as MUTEK MX, Mapping festival, International Symposium on Electronic Art(ISEA), Electronic Language International Festival(FILE festival), and many others. Most recently, he developed the 360¡Æ work ¡ºExo-Cortex¡» for several immersive spaces and rooms, including the Paris Planetarium, the Kazakhstan National Museum, Foro Allende in Mexico, Lumière Hall in Budapest, and Artechouse in New York. Oury also promotes the production of immersive works by curating and organizing the Sous dôme festival in Paris and the ¡ºDomoArte¡» touring project in LATAM(Latin America).

Cooper Sanghyun Yoo is a professor, also an XR director in Art & Technology at Seokyeong University, creating immersive and interactive experiences that explore digital play in shared audience environments. Yoo"s recent XR projects include White Door(2024), Dani: The Portrait of a Beauty (2023), Mudong (2022), and Poison (2020). Yoo focuses on VR, blending narrative, presence, and technology.

Lim Moon-young is a seasoned expert in digital innovation and policy planning. As Chair of the Special Committee on Digital Affairs for the Democratic Party of Korea, he co-leads the “AI Transition Alliance,” an initiative for shaping national AI and digital strategies. As the founder of Future Transition, he spearheads a wide range of projects that drive societal innovation and digital transformation. Lim previously served as Executive Director for Economic Affairs at the Gyeonggi Institute of Science & Technology Promotion, contributing to regional economic revitalization and industry development. During his tenure as Director General for Future Growth Policy at Gyeonggi Province, he was responsible for the formulation and execution of Fourth Industrial Revolution strategies. He also served as Director General of Informatization Policy, overseeing digital governance and information policy. Earlier in his career, Lim led digital communication at the National Assembly as Editor-in-Chief of National Assembly ON News. He also played a key role in Korea’s early internet media ecosystem as Director of the iMBC Media Center and an operator for pioneering platforms Hitel and NowNuri.

Professor of Film, Korea National University of Arts (K-ARTS) ¡¤ Director, Art & Technology Center

Lee Seungmoo is directing and writing films and dramas such as The Warrior's Way and Kangsan Mujin. Recently, as the head of the Art & Technology Lab at K-Arts, he has been leading cutting-edge content direction and production utilizing artificial intelligence and extended reality(XR), with his works being invited to major film festivals such as Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and Venice Film Festival, where they have received multiple awards. Additionally, he has been conducting long-term research on 'emotionally intelligent, interactive AI actors' through collaborations with POSTECH, VCU, and others.

Festival Director of BIFAN

Shin Chul became the Festival Director of the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2019, and began the third term in 2024. Over the past 30 years, Shin Chul played a key role in the modernization of the Korean film industry, producing movies like Marriage Story(1992), Lies(1999), and My Sassy Girl(2001). Computer graphics were used in The Gingko Bed(1996) for the first time in a Korean movie, and My Sassy Girl is widely recognized as the film that started the Korean Wave with its explosive success all over Asia, followed by remakes in Hollywood, China, and other Asian countries. This success led to an influx of new talents with fresh visions into the Korean film industry. Shin is regarded as the producer who started the new golden era for Korean cinema. Shin's success triggered major Korean companies to invest in the Korean film market. In order to cope with the rapid changes the global film industry is facing, Shin proposed to start a discussion on ‘Redefining Cinema’ at the Cannes Film Festival while working on several projects as his secondary goal as a Korean film producer. Together with all the staff of BIFAN, Shin is committed to exploring the future of cinema and the evolution of film festivals.

Choi Yanghyun is a writer whose work focuses on theater and cinema. Through his storytelling, he seeks to portray troubled individuals navigating through illusions and disillusionment in a world where light no longer reaches—guided only by the faint glow of moonlight. His academic background spans the humanities, arts, and engineering. As an undergraduate, he studied modern drama, Korean literature, and film directing, later pursuing graduate research in cultural technology with a focus on AI and virtual reality. Choi’s directed works have been featured or awarded at both domestic and international film festivals, including the Moscow International Film Festival, Jeonju International Film Festival, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival, Seoul Independent Film Festival, and the VRound Content Awards.

Kim Sungsoo is professionally known as ¡°23live,¡± is a visionary music director celebrated for creating immersive soundscapes that transcend the boundaries of performing arts and media. With a profound grounding in classical music and refined artistic direction, he has consistently distinguished himself across both stage and screen. Kim is a three-time winner of the Music Director Award at the Korea Musical Awards (2019, 2021, 2023) and was honored with the Prime Minister¡¯s Commendation at the 2024 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards. A creator of the producer-artist model, he leads the entire musical process—from concept development to composition, arrangement, and sound production. His collaborative spirit continues to redefine the sound of contemporary Korean musical theater.

Editor-in-Chief, Cine21, Film Critic

Song Kyungwon is a film critic and journalist who made his debut in 2009 after receiving the Cine21 Film Criticism Award. He completed doctoral coursework in film theory at Dongguk University’s Graduate School of Film and has served as Executive Secretary of the Korean Association of Film Critics. His expertise has led him to jury roles at notable festivals such as the Busan Ilbo Film Awards, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and Seoul International Animation Festival. He was also a programmer for the Indie Documentary Festival. Song’s criticism is marked by a progressive lens, particularly when addressing historical narratives, and he remains deeply engaged with cinema that contributes to social discourse. He is also an active commentator on games and animation, maintaining a thoughtful balance between otaku subculture and mainstream sensibilities. His work has appeared in Cine21, Naver Movies, and MovieSome. Since 2022, he has expanded his presence through Cine21’s YouTube platform and moderated guest screenings and talks (GVs). In November 2023, he was appointed Editor in-Chief of Cine21, redefining the landscape of contemporary Korean film criticism.

Originally trained in traditional Korean medicine, Wonmo Jung transitioned into software development to pursue his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. As the founder and CEO of fika.d, he first gained traction with a marketing solution built on behavioral data from product detail pages. Facing growth limitations, he made a bold pivot to generative AI, earning widespread attention for developing a solution that automatically creates 15 short-form videos from a single YouTube URL. Jung successfully secured investment through the Antler Korea cohort program, demonstrating both rapid execution and meaningful proof of concept. Despite ongoing trial and error, he remains a hands-on founder committed to customer-centered value, redefining the landscape of AI driven creative production.

Ph.D, Independent Researcher(Science of Image & Documentary Film)Culture Columnist

Lee Juyoung is a cultural critic and researcher specializing in musical theater, documentary film, and performance studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Film & Media Arts from the Graduate School of Media Sogang University Her professional background spans journalism, digital content strategy, and editorial curation. She has worked as a technology journalist, a portal news editor, and a content strategist. Notably, she spearheaded the crowdfunding campaign for the film Northern Limit Line, exploring the intersection of creative production and shared emotional engagement. Lee also developed UCC-based marketing campaigns for films such as Virgin Snow, Monopoly, and Riverbank Legends, and directed the short film Four Hands, further blending her storytelling sensibilities with production insight. Lee has contributed criticism and opinion pieces to The Korea Economic Daily over several years. She currently authors the weekly column “Musical Mania with Ju-young Lee” for Weekly Kyunghyang, and “Humanities Through Film” for WooriSi. She is also a juror and writer for the Edaily Culture Awards in the musical category, and pens the “Garden of Reflection” column for The Farmers’ Newspaper. As a regular host on the film channel CineFocus, she leads two segments: “Doc & Drama Impact” and “Genocide Documentary Film”, engaging with contemporary media through a critical and humanistic lens.
