LEE Hajoon

Lee Hajoon is a film director and screenwriter who creates narratives across various genres for cinema, series, and OTT platforms, with a particular passion for heartwarming comedies and dramas. Lee finished MFA in Filmmaking and Directing at Korea National University of Arts in 2025, building upon his BA in Korean Language Education from Seoul National University. Lee's recent short films works include Give My Item Back! (2025) and the AI-integrated Eyeball (2025) both of which he wrote and directed. Lottery Voice (2024) and 200,000 km (2024) showcase Lee's versatility in storytelling, with the latter earning selection at the Seoul International Extreme Short Film Festival. In feature film screenplay development, Lee have expanded Eyeball into a feature film script and completed Control me in 2025. Lee's international recognition includes participation in the Korea-France Film Academy (2025), TCCF(Taiwan Creative Content Fest) Project Pitching (2024), and selection for the BIFAN+ Goedam Campus Project (2024), demonstrating his commitment to enhancing storytelling quality across diverse platforms.

CHAN Wai Mo

Chan Wai Mo is a director who began his creative career at a leading video production company in Hong Kong. Chan graduated BSc in Genetics Biology and a Master¡¯s degree in Multimedia & Entertainment Technology. In 2010, Chan co-founded YAMANYAMO, an award-winning studio recognized for its innovative and impactful work. Chan's portfolio includes works for major international brands and has earned multiple international awards. Beyond visually striking imagery, Chan¡¯s work consistently explores human emotion through the lens of surrealism and weird fiction. Furthermore, latest short film Anima Possession won the Bronze Audience Award 2022(Best Asian Short) in Fantasia International Film Festival 2022.

Min BAE

Min Bae is a Korean filmmaker and screenwriter with a background in literature, film theory, and cultural studies. He graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Film and Media Studies, where he developed a strong interest in personal storytelling through genre. His experience spans both international and domestic production, having worked as international guest coordinator at the Busan International Film Festival and as a crew member on several foreign film sets. Now based in Korea, Bae is focused on developing independent films that explore emotional disconnection, quiet psychological tension, and the surreal aspects of everyday life. Bae's work blends understated visual style with themes of personal isolation and cultural unease, often grounded in socially relevant contexts. Most recently, Bae directed REQUIEM, an upcoming short film that continues exploration of silence, memory, and emotional restraint. As an emerging filmmaker with a cross-cultural perspective, Bae aims to create stories that resonate both locally and globally—bridging Korean identity with universal emotion through genre cinema.

Annie SONG

Annie Song is a film producer graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. In the early stages of her career, Annie Song participated in the production of Have a Nice Day (2017), Ghost in the Mountains (2017), and A Yangtze Landscape (2017). Song later produced The Wind Will Say (2022), which premiered at the Busan International Film Festival. Frankenfish by the River (2024) was selected by WIP(Work in Progress) in the HAF(The Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum) and Focus Asia of the Udine Far East Film Festival, and premiered at the FIRST International Film Festival Xining. Passionate about cross-cultural collaboration, Song produced I AM The Beauty of Your Beauty, I AM The Fear of Your Fear (2024) with Malaysian director Tan Chui Mui premiered at Giornate Degli Autori, an independent section of Berline International Film Festival. In 2024, Song was selected for the Chanel X BIFF Asian Film Academy, Talents Tokyo, and SGIFF(Singapore International Film Festival) Asian Producers' Network. Song's upcoming productions include The Grand Village Priest, Loser Day Day Day and Dinosaur Boy.

Fadhilla Dwi RISTIANTI

Fadhila Dwi Ristianty is an Indonesian producer who began the career in the film industry as a publicist in MADONNA (2017), which won the Sonje Award at the Busan International Film Festival. Ristianty's debut as a producer came with the film Babon (2023), directed by Sinung Winahyoko. Currently, Ristianty is producing the short documentary The Other Daughter, which was selected and won at the pitching session IDocLab 2023. Furthermore, Ristianty participated in the EAVE on Demand: Marketing Masterclasses in the Philippines last year, and was also selected for the Producers Lab at Jakarta Film Week 2024. Zandy established Zandy's own production house, KrossKultur Media, which focuses on producing audio-visual works that are not limited by genre or form. Currently, Zandy is pursuing further training in film producing as a fellow at the Asian Film School (AFiS) in Busan, South Korea.

CHUA Jing Xuan

Chua Jing Xuan is a filmmaker and producer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a producer at Da Huang Pictures, Chua has worked on projects including Barbarian Invasion (2021), which received theatrical releases across Malaysia and China and is now streaming on Netflix. In 2022, Chua was selected for mylab (Malaysian Development Lab for Fiction Feature Films) and the Asian Producers Network at the Singapore International Film Festival. Chua's participants the recent work 'I Am the Beauty of Your Beauty, I Am the Fear of Your Fear' as a producer, which screened at Venice International Film Festival Venice Days 2024. Chua's journey into AI filmmaking began in 2025 when serving as an Assistant Instructor for the AI Short Film Creation Workshop organized by Next New Wave. Across five editions, Chua guided participants through prompt engineering, image and video generation, sound design, and editing. Chua enjoys exploring the creative possibilities and stories that emerge through collaboration with AI.

PARK Yongjun

Park Yongjun majored in Electrical Engineering at the University of California San Diego, and worked as a researcher in the USA. However, to pursue Park's longtime dream of becoming an actor, boldly quit the job and moved to Los Angeles with no connections. Park appeared in a wide range of productions—from minor roles to leading roles—in student films, short films, independent films, theater plays, and musicals. Later, Park had the opportunity to join a short film production team, and the project went on to win awards at several film festivals. After returning to Korea, Park continued the creative journey by participating in short films, independent movies, scripted series, non-scripted series, Netflix, and other projects in roles such as editor, sound recorder, cinematographer, director, and actor. Park is currently writing own scripts and steadily working toward creating the own original series.

LEE Soeun

Lee Soeun(Judy) is a global artist who is also a third culture kid based in Seoul, South Korea. After pursuing both theatre and camera acting up till high school, Judy studied English at Biola University in Southern California. Upon returning to South Korea, has continued both writing and acting career, viewing the world through a global lens from Judy's various intercultural experiences. Judy seeks to be a bridge between Korean and Western culture through the widespread growth of Korean film and TV industry, and continues to tell underrepresented stories through various mediums in both English and Korean.

FAN Ka Chun

Fan Ka Chun is a director graduated from the 2018 Master Class in Film Directing organized by the Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild and holds a Professional Certificate in Screenwriting for Film from Hong Kong Metropolitan University. Fan's short film WAKE UP (2017) was officially selected for Oregon Scream Week! Horror Film Festival in 2018, and awarded Action On Film International Film Festival(AOF) Best Horror Mention in 2017. The same work was a Joint Runner-up at Asia South East Short Film Festival Winter in 2017. Fan participated in films making including I Did it My Way (2024), Band 4 (2023), The Tipping Point (2022), G Storm (2021), and many more. Fan's feature films project which is in progress, SOMETHING IN THE WAY won the MPA Best Project Award in Beijing International Film Festival Project Pitches 2025. The work was selected in Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forun(HAF) 2025 IDP Project, HAF Film Lab 2024 and 37th Golden Rooster Hong Kong Film Promotion. Fan's next feature films project, STAIR-AWAY, is now in progress stage and selected in HAF 2023 IDP Project and HAF Film Lab 2022.

Regina SURBAKTI

Regina Surbakti is a rising director from Indonesia whose works center on womanhood, memory, body, and everyday resistance. With a background in Visual Communication Design, Surbakti discovered filmmaking after winning a national audiovisual competition while still in school. Surbakti began the career in content and creative production, where continuing to work while pursuing her passion in film. Short documentary Kanaka won the Best Short Film at the 2023 Documentary Film Festival. Surbakti has directed and co-directed digital series, joined the creative team behind one of the world’s top live streaming projects, and previously joined a local creative incubation to explore the possibilities of XR -an interest continuing to develop through the current project, Hysteria.

KIM Jonghee

Kim Jonghee(Queen Kim) is a Korean filmmaker whose career spans the U.S. and Korea and built a name through bold, independent storytelling. Queen Kim has been active in the American film industry for a long time, also in Korea, Kim graduated from the 40th class of KAFA's Filmmaking Program in 2023. Kim earned the BFA in Film from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which is America¡¯s the oldest accredited independent art school with the Enrichment Scholarship, and received the MFA in Film Directing from the University of Southern California as a full scholar. As a producer, USC thesis film Soak premiered at SXSW(South by Southwest) and won Best Producing and Best Screenwriting at USC¡¯s First Look Awards. Kim's debut feature 3,000 made history as the first Korean film to be independently released in the U.S. without a distributor, which praised by legendary French New Wave director Jean-Jacques Annaud. Kim had a producing debut with the feature Chabak and later worked as a line producer on Crypto man. Kim is currently developing the next feature, On the Road.

CHIU Ping-Yu

Chiu Ping-Yu is a producer at Volos Films and a sociology graduate from National Taiwan University. Before joining Volos in 2023, Chiu worked on several feature films and spent six years at the Taipei Film Commission from 2017 to 2023, where led international promotion efforts and headed the Taipei Film Academy. Chiu is also an alumna of the International Film Business Academy at Busan Asian Film School (AFiS, 2021) and APostLab Luxembourg (2023). That same year, Chiu was selected for the Locarno Film Festival’s Match Me! program, which highlights emerging producers. Chiu works as a post-production supervisor on international co-productions, including In My Mother’s Skin (2023) in the Sundance Film Festival, Transamazonia (2024) in Locarno Film Festival, and many others. Chiu's latest work as producer, the documentary feature Another Home, premiered in the Wide Angle Competition at the 2024 Busan International Film Festival and received the BIFF Mecenat Award.

CHOI Changhwan

Choi Changhwan graduated with a major in Cinematography from the Korean Academy of Film Arts(KAFA) and is currently on leave from the MFA Cinematography program at Korea National University of Arts. Choi's first feature as a cinematographer Work to Do was screened and awarded at festivals such as the Busan International Film Festival, Seoul Independent Film Festival, Busan Independent Film Festival, Beijing International Film Festival, and Vesoul International Festival of Asian Cinema. As a gaffer, Choi participated in No Heaven But Love, Iron Mask, and Manok, which were also screened and awarded at domestic and international film festivals. Additionally, Choi worked as a gaffer on the Watcha OTT original series ¡ºMs. Mina, You Changed Your Profile Again¡» and as a cinematographer on the Canneseries non-competition selection ¡ºNursery Rhyme Horror Story (Episode: Same Same)¡». Choi continues to work on a range of short films, including Leak, Whose Face Is, Youthful Days, Her Last Hours, Rainbow Backpack Club, HOMEWORK, and Doongji, and remains active on various shooting sets.

Shellane Kate ONG

Shellane Kate Ong(Sheka) is a multimedia artist and film producer based in Quezon City, Philippines. Sheka graduated from iACADEMY with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animation but down the line decided to shift focus towards film and video production. After years of working as a production sound recordist and video editor, Sheka began to venture in producing independent films due to the desire to support burgeoning film makers and create a more inclusive and sustainable film industry. Recently, Sheka has taken on a handful of film, series and animation projects. All of which are in various stages of development.

John Voltaire GARCIA

John Voltaire Garcia is a AI Creator with over 20 years at the crossroads of architecture, design, and 3D technology. Garcia creates immersive visual experiences that span film, AR/VR, and interactive media. As a Creative Director and Lead 3D Artist, Garcia has led teams across startups and agencies, bringing narratives to life through photorealistic environments, animated sequences, and extended reality showcases. Garcia specializes in blending technical precision with cinematic storytelling—crafting visuals that not only captivate but also add business and artistic value. Beyond production, Garcia also teaches at premier design schools in Philippines, mentoring future creatives in digital storytelling and worldbuilding.

KO Kihyuck

Ko Kihyuck is an actor who is active under the stage name Van Si-on. Ko spent school days and college years in Canada and the USA. Although Ko majored in something unrelated to film, entered the film industry when Ko was able to become independent after completing the military service. Ko directed several short films and appeared in various short films and feature films. Representative feature films include Not in This World (Park Jung-beom, 2019) and Unknown (Lee Don-koo, 2024). Ko is also active in various fields such as acting as a body double for actor Yoo Te-o in the movie Past Lives and acting as a voice actor in the audio webtoon¡ºEncounter¡».

HWANG Dahyeon

Hwang Dahyeon is a Korean-Canadian actor. Hwang immigrated to Canada in 10 years old and discovered the passion for acting. Hwang graduated in Theatre Production at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2020. First short film Don’t Cry has won Best Canadian Student Film at the Canadian Independent Film Festival, and was selected as Semi-Finalist at Sydney Indie Film Festival and Connect Film Festival, selected at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, Festival du nouveau cinéma RPCE. After the first short film, Hwang continued to work as an actor based in Toronto, working on a Netflix series, films, independent shorts, and on TV series. Hwang is currently based in Seoul, Korea, exploring Korean heritage and grounding the voice as an actor.

SAKUMA Keisuke

Keisuke Sakuma was born and raised in Nagoya, Japan. Moved to U.S. at the age of fifteen and spent four years of high school in Pennsylvania. Sakuma became an independent film director and writer after working film distribution company in Japan. Samuka's queer comedy short film Funny(2021) won Audience Award and Best Actress Award at Richmond International Film Festival in the US. Another dark comedy short film Eatversity (2023) was selected for Vancouver Asian Film Festival. Sakuma later joined NAFF It Project in BIFAN 2023. First horror short film Rat Tat Tat (2024) is now in theaters in Japan.

WAN Tsz Heung Philip

WAN Tsz Heung Philip is a Graphic Designer, Art Director, Creative Director, and Film Director who has been engaged in the creative industry for two decades. Wan's portfolio encompasses a variety of video commercials and short films, which have received funding from the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency Hong Kong(CCIDAHK) and the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau. The debut film, CHIAROSCURO, has been selected by and won more than 20 international awards, including the Best Production Design award at the International Thai Film Festival and the Best Film Noir award at the Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente de Madrid(FICIMAD). Wan's latest film, S!CKO, received an award at the Next Step Film Festival in Cannes. As a visual storyteller, Wan is committed to translating concepts into a refined visual language. Also Wan currently works as a Creative Director in Hong Kong, where diligently seeking opportunities to further creative pursuits.

CHOI Hyungun

Choi Hyungun studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University, where he began his filmmaking journey through the student film society. He later pursued an MFA in Film Producing at the Korea National University of Arts. Choi's feature debut as a producer,The Only Child in the Butchery, was presented in the Work-in-Progress section of the 17th Jeonju Project. Next feature, The Robber, completed principal photography in February 2025 and is currently in post-production. Choi is actively engaged in international co-productions and cross-cultural collaborations. Choi has showcased feature projects at global markets such as the BIFAN+ NAFF It Project and Taipei Content Creative Fest. Also has served as a line producer for international student films shot in Korea, including a co-production with the Beijing Film Academy and a graduation project from La Fémis. Currently, Choi runs the independent production company GroundFinch, where continues to explore innovative producing methodologies that merge cinematic storytelling with emerging technologies.

Thy SENG

Thy Seng is a Cambodian filmmaker and screenwriter with a passion for telling emotionally resonant stories rooted in Southeast Asian life. A graduate of the Busan Asian Film School, Seng has developed a distinctive voice through both short and feature-length films. Seng's short works include The Dancer, while his debut feature film Spirit House received the Audience Award at the 2024 All Asian Independent Film Festival(AAIFF), earning recognition for its powerful storytelling and cultural depth. Upcoming film The Offspring, currently in post-production, is set for theatrical release later this year. Seng's work is known for its sensitivity, visual poetry, and commitment to authentic representation. Drawing from personal and collective histories, Seng explores themes of identity, memory, and resilience. With a growing body of work and festival acclaim, Seng continues to be a rising voice in Cambodian cinema and an advocate for regional storytelling on the international stage.

Jeanne Elizabeth FAM

Jeanne Elizabeth Fam started the journey in the film industry in 2003 as an assistant director on documentary and commercial projects. Since 2007, Fam has carved a niche for oneself as a Costume Designer for both films & TV series. Fam's remarkable contribution to Costume Design, particularly in Dibalik 98 and Guru Guru Gokil, earned nominations for the Best Costume Designer at the Indonesian Film Festival. In 2023, Fam was accepted into Indonesiana Film Workshop, as a co-writer for Dancing Gale, which received the Best Screenplay Award and later won DHL Awards at BIFAN 2024. As Fam is now stepping into producing, is currently one of the producers in the film Dancing Gale, which is planned to be in production later this year by Sinemart Pictures & Pomp Films.

LIEW Onn Wah Arthur

Liew Arthur holds a Master’s degree in Digital Film & Television from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Coming from an IT background, he left the industry to pursue his passion for filmmaking. Since then, he has directed and produced a range of short films, documentaries, music videos and commercials. Liew is one of the founder of Blackdot, a Kuala Lumpur–based production company specializing in commercial and creative projects, including music videos for local artists. Beyond commissioned work, Liew actively develops self-funded short films and independent projects under Blackdot. Liew is also a member of Film Directors’ Association of Malaysia and the Professional Film Workers Association of Malaysia.

CHEONG Zhe Yen June

Cheong Zhe Yen June is an emerging filmmaker from Singapore whose work explores science fiction, time and womanhood. Bilingual and based in Asia, Cheong brings a distinctive voice shaped by the background in journalism. In 2022, Cheong was selected for the Golden Horse Film Academy, a prestigious mentorship programme founded by the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival—often referred to as the Chinese-language Oscars. Cheong's narrative pitch Ponding, a time-travel inter-racial romance with a genre-bending heart, won the 2023 RisingStories International Story Pitching Competition. That same year, Cheong was a semi-finalist at the Asia TV Forum x Beach House Scripted Pitch competition. Cheong’s short films often carry a sharp social lens. Good Girl Rose (2020), about a domestic worker navigating a night of crisis, was selected for eight international film festivals. The latest short, Viola Isn’t Like Us—a darkly surreal tale about alienation and conformity—went viral online and sparked conversations about female friendship and bullying. Cheong currently works as a commercial and documentary director, and is currently developing a slate of genre films spotlighting women at the edge of worlds—real and imagined.

Eliott KWON

Intent on pursuing his passion for theatre & films, and the performing arts, Eliott Kwon studied Musical theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, and trained in music, jazz, ballet, and modern dance. He began working in all areas of the industry in Korea and Australia. Eliott appeared as an actor and assistant director in the short films including < The Broadcast >, < I.Aphrodisia >, < II.Dysphoria >, and < Where love meets the blade >. Eliott’s theatre credits include musical < American Idiot >, < Oh! While you were sleeping >, < Nutcracker >, and Opera < Turandot > on recent. Eliott will play in < EQUUS > as an ensemble member later this October. Eliott has also worked for various magazines, commercials, art films, promotions and showcases as an actor, model and dancer.

FURUYAMA Tomomi

Furuyama Tomomi began career as an actor under the name Tomomi Kono, making debut in the feature film Hoshisuna (Ichiro Kita, 2010). Furuyama won Best Actress at the Beverly Hills Film Festival for the lead role in My Father’s Mistress (Kosuke Sakoda, 2012). Furuyama went on to appear in the Japanese-French co-production Savage Night (Kristof Sagna, 2014), and more recently in the acclaimed series ¡ºTokyo Vice¡»by director Michael Mann. In recent years, Furuyama's also been active as a producer. Since the debut production, truth: 1 Night, 1 Room, 3 Baddest Bitches (Yukihiko Tsutsumi, 2021), Furuyama has produced and played the lead role in all feature films have worked, including The House of the Serpent (2022), Intimate Space (2023), and Polar Night (2023). As CEO of Ihr HER Inc., Furuyama participates in international co-productions and major industry programs, expanding the global network as both actor and producer.
