Goedam Planning & Development Camp
Goedam Planning & Development Camp, launched in 2021, is an intensive lab program dedicated to developing unfinished stories centered around the theme of ¡°Goedam¡±. Mentee receive one-on-one mentoring and pitching training from film and content experts, refining their synopsis before presenting them to industry professionals worldwide at the Goedam Campus pitching event.
Notably, a 2022 participant Kwon Hansl has been pioneering R&D projects using Unreal Engine and AI technologies. His AI film One More Pumpkin, depicting a grotesque pumpkin and an elderly couple, won the Best Film and Audience Award at the AI FIlm Festival Dubai. The intricate process behind the creation of this remarkable film will take center stage at the upcoming BIFAN+ AI Conference.
Goedam Planning & Development Camp is instrumental in discovering Goedam projects and launching emerging filmmakers into the industry.
Goedam Residency
Goedam Residency, an affiliated program of Goedam Planning & Development Camp, was first introduced in 2023 as a creative support initiative for emerging Asian creators to develop their screenplays in Bucheon.
This residency allows creators to draw inspiration from Bucheon's rich cultural environment, known for its vibrant genre content, and offers various educational programs in collaboration with the Fantastic Film School. It aims to support emerging Asian filmmakers and help them build international networks.
