The Cannes ¡®Fantastic 7¡¯ is a program to revitalize the fantastic genre film industry that started at the Cannes Film Festival¡¯ Film Market in 2019. Hosted by the Cannes Film Festival/Cannes Film Market and the Sitges Film Festival, and seven international fantastic film festivals representing the world participate every year. This year, it was named alongside the Sitges Film Festival, South by Southwest, Guadalajara Film Festival, Cairo Film Festival, New Zealand Film Festival, and Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

BIFAN¡¯s selection for the sixth Fantastic 7 this year is the project Espers¡¯s Light. Director Jung Jae-hoon and producer Ko Yoohee were officially invited to the Fantastic Pavilion at this year's Cannes Film Market, where they participated in the Fantastic 7 pitching session as well as networking programs such as ¡°Spot The Composer¡± and ¡°Fantastic Fanatics Mixer.¡± They showcased the excellence of Korean genre film projects to industry professionals from around the world.

The seven film festivals participating in the Cannes Fantastic 7 will continue to collaborate to build mutual networks, nurture global talent, and promote the discovery and development of genre films.
